  • Historical pageant by the Compagnie de Lacorne

    Would you like to know how French soldiers lived in the 18th century? Now's your chance! This weekend, the Compagnie de Lacorne (website in French only) is coming to Fort Chambly National Historic Site.

    Throughout the day, the Compagnie de Lacorne characters will perform scenes from soldiers' lives as they move through the fort. Have fun following and interacting with them!

    On the agenda:

    • Everyday life scenes
    • Drill commands
    • Demonstration of antique weapons
    • Fort guard and patrol, and more.

     

    Don't miss a musical performance by the Canadian Forces Leadership and Recruit School on Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 2 to 3 pm, outside the fort. See details here.

    During your visit, you can also explore the fort and its exhibitions, and ask questions to the Parks Canada guides on site.

    This activity is free, but entry fees apply.

    La Compagnie de Lacorne animations are presented in English and French.

  • Musical performance by the Canadian Forces Leadership and Recruit School

    Bring your camping chair or blanket, and settle down on the grass to enjoy a free musical performance by musicians from the Canadian Forces Leadership and Recruit School.

    On the agenda: Popular music and film music.

    • Duration: Around 60 minutes.
    • Location: Outside, near the fort's curtain wall. The activity is cancelled in case of rain.
    • Cost: free admission.
